Bayside Glamping has been welcoming guests for seven years, and the steady flow of five-star reviews continues to inspire us to expand our range of unique accommodation options.
Our journey started with a single Glamping Tent. Since then, we’ve expanded to include an eco-friendly Tiny House, and soon, The Sanctuary. Each part of Bayside Glamping reflects love, family values, and respect for Marion Bay’s stunning landscape. Today, we’re thrilled to invite you to join us in this special journey.

At Bayside Glamping, our vision is to provide Yorke Peninsula accommodation that’s more than just a place to stay. After years in the city, I felt drawn back to Marion Bay – a small coastal town filled with fond memories from my childhood, and where my dad still lives. Inspired by this special place, I decided to create a glamping site with a difference, where couples can unwind in comfort and enjoy the peaceful and breath-taking Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park.
With the invaluable help of my dad, George, we set out to design a unique South Australian glamping experience that seamlessly blends sustainability with luxury. Using reclaimed materials collected over the years, we added personal touches and crafted the site with heart, creating a space that feels both inviting and deeply connected to nature. The sound of the ocean lulls you to sleep, while the birds invite you to start your day.

Sustainability has been central to our mission from the beginning. We prioritised eco-friendly materials and low-impact building methods, from reclaimed timber to practices that preserve Marion Bay’s pristine landscapes. Our Tiny House addition introduced the concept of tiny living to Marion Bay, providing a minimalist yet cosy retreat that balances comfort with eco-conscious design. Guests can enjoy a completely off-grid experience, with the Tiny House powered by solar energy, supplied with rainwater, and equipped with a composting toilet.
By offering sustainable Marion Bay accommodation, we aim to protect the Yorke Peninsula’s natural beauty for future generations. Guests enjoy not only a luxurious stay, but also the satisfaction of knowing their holiday respects and preserves the environment.
Bayside Glamping was also created with couples in mind, giving parents a chance to reconnect and enjoy quality time together in nature—something that often takes a backseat in the busy world of parenthood.

Our journey with Bayside Glamping continues to evolve, and with my partner Luke now part of the Bayside family, we’ve gained another skilled and dedicated team member. The upcoming Sanctuary project will elevate our offerings, adding a new level of luxury to the Yorke Peninsula. Luke and my dad have been working tirelessly on the build, and this time, we’re working with interior designer Homes by Penny Crompton to enhance the luxury experience. Penny’s remarkable talent for bringing visions to life and her focus on creating elegant, high-end designs are helping us enter the luxury space. We’re excited to keep providing guests with a memorable, eco-friendly retreat that combines nature, comfort, and the warmth of a family-run business, now with a refined touch of sophistication.
