We hang a banner and some balloons for birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations, and honeymoons - where we also supply a personalised gift to make your time at Bayside extra memorable!

Please note that for cancellations to bookings of 3 or more days, an additional $70 rebooking fee will be charged if I'm only able to rebook the dates as multiple bookings. I.e. if I'm only able to rebook your 3 night booking as a 2 night and a 1 night booking.
COVID - Please note that the above Cancellation Policy applies.
Our cancellation policy still applies if you have to cancel because of COVID-related issues.
We suggest looking into Travel Insurance. One we have personally used ourselves is RAA - you can find more info here, and see if it's right for you.
Getting ready for your stay
Your clothes, toothbrush and toothpaste, eski, bluetooth speaker, sunscreen, beach towels and your bathers. We do supply mozzie repellent, but also recommend bringing some just in-case.
Both the Tiny House and Tent kitchens are stocked with everything you need - kettle, toaster (only in the Tent because of power restrictions in the Tiny House), plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery, utensils, serving dishes, tea, coffee and salt and pepper.
During your stay
Marion Bay, like most of SA, is extremely dry and strict fire bans apply. Fires aren't allowed on either site in winter sorry, but you can have one on Marion Bay beaches when there isn't a fire ban (please do your own research on this).
Smoking isn’t allowed in your Tent or the Tiny House, and we’d appreciate you smoking on the road, away from the dry vegetation, and butting out safely, and disposing of your butts.
Tent - Please note that the site is on the back of my dad’s property, behind his 2 story home. The setup is built on the secluded back part of his block, and you’ll have total privacy.
The site is at the end of a cul de sac, and nestled amongst the trees.
Tiny House - We do not own the land, we rent off the owner who lives on the property (400m from the site)
Tent - Yes, there are lights and a powerpoint in the bathroom and kitchen. There are also lamps and a power point in the tent – like we said ‘Glamping’, not camping.
Tiny House - Yes, there is power but as it is via solar, we ask that no hair dryer, hair curler, hair straightener, Nutribullet, electric shaver and no toasters are used (as you will use up all of your power)
Yes, we rely solely on rainwater, which means we also ask for you to please be extra conservative with your usage.
I sure do! You can now purchase these directly from my website!
We no longer sell vouchers for 1 or 2 nights, just a dollar value that the recipient can use towards any of our sites. We will honour the per night pricing of an existing 1 or 2 night voucher you have been gifted for 12 months, after that current pricing will apply.
Please get in touch so we can create a coupon code if there is a difference payable at check out.
